2018 SAFARI REPORT

Tarangire National Park was established in 1970, covering an area of 2,850 square kilometres and it is located 118 km to the west of Arusha. This National Park is the 6th largest National Park in Tanzania. Tarangire is most famous for having many elephants which can being seen in a small area. It has a good environment which attracts many animals including lions and pythons which climb trees. Tarangire has 500 types of birds many of which can only be found in this Park. The River Tarangire runs through the Park which attracts the animals and makes it very popular for visitors.
